Making the World Better

Allergens

The earlier spring occurs, the higher pollen counts can reach later in the year. Climate change is leading to earlier and earlier springs, an huge problem for people with seasonal allergies like me.

Studies have actually proven that since 1995 the pollen season has been increasing, at certain points, by almost a full month. Areas most affected include the Northern United States, Vermont will be experiencing more dramatic spring and warming trends as climate change continues to advance.

Pollen has been linked to decreased productivity both at school and work. Students and workers both would benefit from efforts to reduce climate change.
